The Department of Anthropology at the University of Central Florida presents a Colloquium in the Anthropology Colloquium Series: Applying Anthropology in a Local Health Department

Nancy Winterbauer Coordinator, Center for Community Health Research Duval County Health Department Research Assistant Professor, University of Florida Department of Behavioral Science and Community Health

Nancy Winterbauer is the Coordinator for the Center for Community Health Research in Duval County, and an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Florida. In the past, she has worked at the University of North Florida, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Florida, Jacksonville. Nancy Winterbauer earned her BA at USF, an MA and PhD in Anthropology at Bingham- ton, and an MS in Epidemiology at Albany. She is the author of many articles on community-centered medicine, and works at the intersection of medicine and anthropology.
