Mission and Vision

Mission

The College of Sciences is a major component of the University of Central Florida and shares the university mission of dedicated service and partnership with its surrounding communities, the state and the nation. The mission of the college is to offer high-quality undergraduate and graduate education, student development, and continuing education in the natural and social sciences. The college will also conduct high-quality research in the sciences and provide services that enhance the intellectual, cultural, environmental, and economic development of the community in the context of the global environment.

Vision

The College of Sciences will become widely recognized for combining research in the natural and social sciences with a high quality education focused on the advancement of knowledge and human development.
