Biography

Elizabeth "Chili" Rivera has been with UCF since 1993. Elizabeth started out as an OPS staff member working for the Office of Research & Commercialization (Formerly the Department of Sponsored Research). In 1995 she took a position in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) as a secretary. After several years she was promoted to an Office Assistant until 2005 when CAS dissolved and the College of Sciences (COS) was born.

Within COS, Elizabeth was promoted from her previous CAS position to administrative assistant for Associate Dean, Michael Johnson. Elizabeth currently oversees faculty relations issues (e.g. faculty annual reports/assignment, college committees, conflict of interest, RIA, TIP, promotion and tenure, and excellence awards).
