Advising

Due to the dissolution of the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS), the primary office for undergraduate advising within CAS has been reorganized. The office, previously referred to as OASIS (the Office of Academic Support and Information Services), has branched into two different offices; one for the College of Sciences (COS) and one for the College of Arts and Humanities. The COS’ undergraduate advising office will now be referred to as the College of Sciences’ Academic Services (COSAS). 

COSAS is the primary office charged with providing academic assistance to undergraduate students within the College of Sciences.

Their mission is to efficiently and professionally advise and serve students and the public with clear communication, concerned care, and creative solutions to problems. They help students with matters concerning college and university requirements, policies, and procedures. Students use their services primarily by walk-in, or by appointment for advising and special problems.
