Welcome to the Sociology Program at the University of Central Florida!
Our program offers an undergraduate major as well as graduate study leading to the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees.
Although UCF is one of the largest universities in the US, we are committed to offering one-on-one personal service to
each student. Faculty accessibility is one of the key strengths of our program. |

If you are a prospective, current, or past undergraduate student, you'll find the undergraduate section of our web
page a very useful introduction to our major and minor programs as well as the type of jobs in which sociology majors are employed.
High-quality undergraduate education is only one of the goals of the Sociology Program. We also offer programs leading to the M.A. and
Ph.D. degrees in Sociology. The graduate section of our web page provides information on our areas of specialization, application
requirements, and procedures.
Finally, we strive to provide a stimulating intellectual environment for our students and faculty. Information about the teaching and
research interests of our faculty can be found in the Faculty and Research sections of the web page.
